Eksportfinans established its Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) program in 1991. The size of the program has since increased to USD 40 billion, and is governed by English law. In recent years an increasing number of the company's funding transactions have been documented under the program, both as direct MTN issues and in combination with the institution's Japanese shelf.
The program is updated on an annual basis.
