Eksportfinans was a close partner to the Norwegian export sector for almost 60 years, from its establishment in 1962 and until a decision to split the company was made in 2011. After this, Eksportfinans has managed a solid portfolio of export credits and international securities. The company is funded through bond debt issued in the international capital markets and is owned by banks and the Norwegian government.
